Olivia Iris was born on Feb 5th at 12:18am weighing in at 10 lbs 6 oz and 23 inches long. She came super duper fast and therefore was born in our bathroom and not at the hospital like we had intended. Everything went fast and well and mom and baby made a dramatic entrance in an ambulance to the hospital. Because she came so fast she did have some facial bruising but that cleared up within two weeks. Her labor start to finish was about 4 hours.

Sara! Your birth story does sound oddly familiar. Welcome to the "I accidentally gave birth to my baby in my bathroom club." We'll have to talk soon to swap story details.

oh my goodness! that is quite the dramatic entrance!! I'm glad baby and mommy are healthy and doing great!!! (I am secretly scared that this will happen when we have our next baby, I'm thinking about just driving and camping out at the hospital after I feel my first contraction)
