Boy's Weekend

Two weekends ago I went out for a girl's weekend with a bunch of friends to some timeshares up north about 2+ hours away. We were left Friday night and came back Sunday morning before church. It was a blast and I stayed up way, way to late and ate way to much junk food, and laughed the whole weekend away. So while I was off having girl time, the boys and Jason got to have some quality guy time. They went to the Minnesota Zoo on Saturday and had a great time hanging with the animals. I got back Sunday and the house was clean, boys were dressed for church, and Jason had dinner in the crock!! I know, AWESOME!! So yea, many thanks to my fabulous husband for being so rad!!

Happy Halloween!!

Jason and I went to a Halloween Party on Friday, I was a geisha and he was an In and Out cook (though everyone thought he was a sushi chef, silly Minnesotans!!) Then on Saturday we went over to our friend's and went trick or treating and hung out in their neck of the woods. Preston ran from house to house and Damien really liked holding out his hand and getting the free candy, score!!

Yes, we are here!! Sometimes it feels like we are on a speck and are oblivious to the bigger universe until our speck is rattled!! So we apologize for the lack of posts these past couple months, we have moved and are just now getting things together and can call our new place "home" (we moved 2 miles away). So next post I will have new pictures, adventures, and stories!!!

We attended a country club themed birthday party on Saturday the 15th and had a blast. We had fake names (hence the name tags) and had to come in costume. We ate and partied and danced the night away! (or at least until 11pm then it was time to go home)

Our Latest Milwaukee Trip

This was our week in pictures of our Milwaukee trip to see Emily, Aden, and Jered. We had a ton of fun, partied with Aden to celebrate his 3rd birthday, Em and I saw Phantom on our big girl date (sans kids!!), and played at the water pad and at a fun center. Thanks for the good times guys, sorry it wasn't longer!

We went out to visit Melissa and her two kiddies at her parents in Illinois. We drove out with Emily and Aden and stayed Monday night and then the boys played hard all day Tuesday and we left that night. It was great seeing our friends again and hanging out, thanks guys for letting us come out and see you!!

This is what happens when it gets quiet in the house and mommy has to go and find where the usually noisy toddler is up to...(it's Balmex or diaper rash cream) he decided to not only decorate his face and neck and arms, but also our love seat, he figured the brown micro-suede couch was boring and needed some patterned designs... yea...lucky for me (and him) micro-suede is heaven sent and just about everything comes out of it, even rash cream.

Wisconsin Weekend

Happy Anniversary to us! We celebrated another year together and this year we both did something, I took Jason out to dinner and a movie (Harry Potter!!) and Jason took me to a Bed & Breakfast! It was so great! We went out Friday to LaCrosse and hung out with Brittany and Jeff and then checked in Saturday night (sans kids!!!) it was heavenly. Thanks to our WI Lunas for making it all possible! You guys are the best!
