So I am in a cake decorating class that meets once a week for 2 hours. It is my sans-kids activity and creative outlet all rolled into one and I am loving it. I came home from my first class triumphantly declaring that I was going to be a cake decorator when I grow up (though last week I wanted to be a lawyer and the week before that it was a toy maker, so I change my mind quite a bit...) Anyhoo, it has been so much fun learning the techniques behind the pretty cakes you see at the bakery and so I've taken a picture of my cake progress, it's pretty drastic, I thought I was competent with the first but really, it was just a pathetic attempt at something grand.
