Almost 28 weeks

This is for all of you out there who keep asking how the pregnant lady looks and if she's getting fat yet... can't hide it anymore, the bump is definitely here to stay (at least till August!). Baby deuce is good, he's active all the time and I don't think this kid sleeps. He gets really active whenever Preston is around and my guess is that he can't wait to come out and play with his noisy big bro.

The Graduate!!

Yea!!! Whoohoo!!! After years of hard work and dedication on Jason's part, we were able to kick back and celebrate his latest achievement, getting his undergraduate degree. One down, one to go!! Law school here we come!!

New Bike!!

Preston has been trying to ride the display motorcycle that we have on top of our entertainment center for the last couple of days and it is so hilarious! He would hover over the bike trying to figure out how he could sit on it and move the handlebars. He tried to do the same thing at marmie and grandpa's house with an antique miniature tricycle. So we decided that enough is enough and found him a descent ride. We opted for the toddler bicycle with wheels because it looks like Jason's bike (Preston is enamored with Jason's yellow Schwinn). He loves it!! He rides it almost everyday (well actually he sits on it and scoots himself a bit) and has dubbed it "bikey." Here he is riding it on our porch... go Preston!!

California Trip

Home Again!

Well after an extended trip to California to visit grandparents and attend the long awaited wedding of Dusty, we are back and already missing the lovely weather we had on vacation!! We were living it up in the 70 degree weather wearing shorts and sandals the whole time we were out, I brought pants but didn't even unpack them, it was great. We visited grandpa and marmie first and had fun hanging out helping spruce up the rental property. Preston enjoyed the pool and really got a kick out of the battery operated Nemo fish that would swim in the pool, as well as petting the family dog Missy. After about a week, we packed up and headed north to visit grandma and papa. We had everyone down for the weekend and it was great to see and play with all the cousins. We then stayed a couple days after everyone left and ate fresh strawberries to our hearts content. Preston became good friends with Delta the dog and would even scold her when she would try to sneak into the house, (much to the enjoyment of Papa!) and we had fun bathing and even walking her. All in all, it was a great trip, thanks for putting us up and having fun with us!!

Easter Egg Hunts!

Since he doesn't quite have the concept of finding the eggs down to a science yet, this year the egg hunts (one in our living room and the other at a neighbor's house) were prompted, though he did figure out that if you chucked the egg on the ground hard enough, then yummy stuff would come flying out, so maybe he did have the idea, make everybody else help him find them and then smash them for the goodies!! But we had a great time with Heather, Aaron, and the kids and feasted on a yummy Easter dinner before heading back home. Thanks for hosting us guys!!
