Fun Times at Discovery Gateway

We love Discovery Gateway! Preston loves all the fun activities he can play with and I love that we have somewhere to go in the winter that is indoors and warm! Our buddy William and his mom Melissa have a year pass and are allowed up to 4 guests each time they go, so we've been invited on many occasions to get out of the house and have a couple hours of fun. Here are some pictures from the last time we went.

Sweet Thrift Store Find

Preston and I like to hit up thrift stores when we get cabin fever and need a change. These suspenders were from such an outting, don't they just scream late 70's early 80's? And best of all, they were only $2, Preston loves them!

Snow Days

Preston loves to go outside in the snow and so every day we try and have some snow time so he can get the wiggles out.

And then there were four...

We are officially pregnant! Most have probably already heard through the infamous grapevine but we thought we would play it safe and wait till the first trimester was good and over before announcing our latest news. We are thrilled to be welcoming another little person in August, the due date is the 11th but its never on the money, so we are saying August when people ask. I have just finished the dreaded super tired/puking stage with all organs in tack, so we are good to go! After a lot of cramming this past month, Jason will be taking the LSAT on Saturday so if you have prayers and extra pennies for wishing wells, I know he would appreciate it. We think that he will do great because he has somehow managed to take practice tests at home amid all the noise and interruptions that Preston and I make, so when he goes to take the test at the testing center, it'll be a lot easier to concentrate! Preston is coming into his own, he has discovered the joy of food, he especially likes ranch dressing, quesadillas, sauerkraut, and oranges (though not all at the same time). He is still "fat and happy" (to quote Jason) and loves being mobile and now creates paths of destruction, much to the frustration of his clean mother who has finally ceded to his all consuming power. So that is the latest update, we will post pictures as soon as we can, right now it's off to the bathtub for some baby scrubbing!!

White Christmas

This year was the first real white Christmas that we have had. Sure we have been living in Utah for the past couple of years, but we usually bug out and spend the holidays in California with our families, so it really isn't white. But this year (because of Jason's work schedule) we had to stay in Utah and so my family decided to come and spend Christmas with us here in the snow! It was a blast! We had a great time shopping, skiing, eating, playing lots of games, and just hanging out with one another. We had a lot of snow dumped on us during the holidays which made my family's time out here colder (but a lot prettier) than expected. We have our pictures posted below for the enjoyment of all and hope that everyone had a great Christmas like we did!
