Made it!

Okay, apologies for the 2 week delay, but we are now all officially in Minnesota!!! Last month was just pure crazy for us, between moving from one place to another to apartment woes, we've been trying to make lemonade out of lemons. But everything is working itself out, we really like Minneapolis and the ward out here is great, the members are super friendly and have helped out in some many ways. The apartment is coming along, still have stuff to move around and put away, but we can see the floor now and Preston is no longer finding tools and poles to play swords with (which is good news for our furniture!!)

Damien has arrived!!

We are proud to announce the arrival of Damien Quinn on August 13th at 1:48am weighing in at 9 lbs 3 oz and 22 inches long. Momma is doing fine and trying to adjust to the funky sleep schedule, juggle our wild man toddler, pack up the apartment, settle things out here in Utah and then move out to Minnesota all in the same motion, it is quite tiring! Preston is the proud big brother who wants to hold his baby all the time, but is having to adjust to sharing mommy with someone else. Jason is starting law school tomorrow!! We are excited to be starting this new chapter in our lives as he tackles his first year at the University of St. Thomas. Go Jason!! So all in all, things are hectic but good for us, thanks to all who've helped us this month, we appreciate it!!

All Dressed up

Preston decided to play dress up, here's his version of a suitable workplace outfit. I especially enjoyed the belted necklace, nice touch buddy! And yes, for all who are wondering, I am still pregnant...no baby yet... sigh...C'est la vie (that's life).

4th of July

This year we decided to take Preston to the Hoogle Zoo for the 4th since it is one of the few days that Jason has off at both jobs and we figured that it shouldn't be too crowded. The weather was okay, it was actually overcast but still hot (in the 90's) for the morning and we covered the park in about 3 hours and were out by about 2:30pm, so not too bad. Preston loved the animals, he was especially excited to see the black bears and elephants! We then came home, Preston napped and then we met some friends at the pool and took an evening dip in the pool, all in all, it was a good day.
